About Bruce

Bruce is a lovable pup with a one-of-a-kind mix of breeds—officially EmbarkVet DNA verified! (You can check out his full results on the DNA tab.) He was rescued as a puppy after being found in a grocery store parking lot and was taken in by an amazing foster family.Funny enough, Bruce wasn’t a “planned” adoption. His future family had actually come to the adoption event to help pick out a cat— their future fur niece! After the kitty was chosen, Bruce’s future mom wandered over to the dog area, just to look (or so she thought). She even told the rescue owner, “I can’t take a dog home today, even though I’d love to.”But Bruce—and fate—had other plans. He kept trying to get her attention, and one of the volunteers asked, “Want to take him for a walk?” Of course, she said yes. When she returned, her brother (Bruce’s future hooman uncle) looked at her and said, “You love him, don’t you?” She did. How could she not?Next thing she knew, he said, “I’ll adopt him for you. Go sign the papers.”And just like that, Bruce found his forever home
